Default XPA-5 or UPA-7

basically i need 2 channels either way for my sub (i may get a sub amp down the road but i spoke to emotiva and it will be ok driving my sub)

So take both of those and subtract 2 channels

So the XPA-5 would be driving my fronts and center (and giving more power to my sub!) then i would have the reciever drive the surrounds (probably gonna be the yamaha 663)

or the UPA-7 and have all 5 of my polks amp'd but with less power, and the sub would be getting alot less power

Just curious, what's your usage in terms of HT/music? If I valued and listened to music more, the extra watts from the XPA-5 would be beneficial for the transient peaks, while HT you should be fine with 125 to power everything.

Then go for the extra watts and get the xpa 5 and let your polks really open up and sing.
