Default Anyone elses have a Blu-ray drought???

I live in Central Jersey and i went out today to a normal Blu-ray run and found nothing. I went to 2 Best Buys 2 Targets 1 Wal-Mart and 1 Costco Wholesale everything new was sold out. I wanted to pick up some of the specials that Best Buy had and everything was gone. So i traveled and came across the same problem. Anyone one else having difficulty???

I mean i'm happy that Blu-ray took a jump over the holiday but save some Blu-ray titles for me.

Ya a lot of the BD shelves were cleaned out at the stores I went to. I wanted to get Kingdom of Heaven & Apocalypto but couldn't find them & they're not even on sale. Oh well I'm very happy to see the Blu-ray format succeding like it has recentely.

I did 3 Wall-Marts yesterday, they had pretty much what they usualy have in BD.

I also went to 2 different Future Shop. They were empty, specialy in the 16$to 20$ range.

Not surprised since Christmas was only a few days ago. Stores need to restock.

I' ve been having a Blu-ray drought but not because stores are sold out. I had a wreck in Nov and the insurance company totaled my car out due to air bags being deployed. So now I am saving my money for a down payment on a new car and all the HT equipment I was planning to buy has been put on hold.

They will not, at least not fully until after there fiscal year is up, or they have to pay taxes on what they have in stock.

Went through most of the year without any new ones, but now I've just ordered nine in the past week 1/2! Trying to catch up with some of the folks on here (lol), but I'm more focused in '09 to hopefully get the count to 100+.

Before this month, I went into a two-month drought because I didn't have a blu-ray player. That won't happen ever again.

That's the real problem.
I don't buy because it's Blu, I buy because I want to see the movie(and have it in my collection).
I choose Blu for PQ, but if there aren't any movies I want to see or have - well...

I was at BB on the 29th, LOTS of BD stock, it was being restocked as I walked by.
Too bad there wasn't anything that interested me.

Why buy retail when you can buy Amazon!

I saw 27 Dresses or whatever at Best Buy for 25 bucks...and you can get it on amazon for 12 + shipping new!

Amazon for life.
