After 4 Months Of Waiting, I Finally Got All 3 Of These . ALL The Stores In My Area Never Got Them The First 2 Weeks They Were Out. So I Had To Ask HMV To Order Them In For Me Last Week But Then I Check Future Shop This Week & They Got Em, It Was Sooo Confusing! :s. But Luckily Now I Got All The Classics Essentials For This Holiday Season :3. (Got Polar Express Too) (Still Need To Get Grinch Cartoon & RL And A Couple More Christmas Blurays) But These Were The Ones I Wanted Most! How Are You Guys Liking Them So Far?

I got the Peanuts collection and The Holiday Set. From what I have seen they both seem to look really good. I never bought any of these on DVD so it was a no doubter purchase for me! Enjoy and let the holidays begin!!!!

I am looking forward to buying this Ultimate Collectors Edition, but I have a feeling that most stores won't be stocking it. Best Buy, Target, and Wal Mart all have not been advertising or even selling Christmas Blu Ray movies. I wanted to buy the Elf Collectors Tin and no one was selling it. Today I went to Best Buy and they had Christmas movies out, but only a few were Blu Rays. The Christmas Classic Collection (Rudolph, Frosty, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town). The others were all DVDs. The Peanuts Ultimate Collection DVD, the Year without a Santa Claus DVD. NO Blu Rays. What is going on?? I guess I will probably have to buy it online, which I don't like doing. I want to just go to a store and buy it and watch it that night.

I'd like to see some pics first to see if it's worth a purchase over the regular version.

Me too. WBSHOP has this on sale for $41 with 2 day shipping so I am thinking about picking it up there.

The "globe" isn't really a globe at all. It's one of those flat pictures that moves as you tilt it covered with a 1/4" of plastic. Not worth the money if you ask me, I wish we had just ordered the regular version.

Agreed. When I was a kid I use to watch the peanuts everyday after school at 3:30 and always loved the old holiday films they had. Now you are lucky if you can even find them on anymore since they have replaced the old classic christmas special with an even newer one. I haven't seen it all but I did catch a part of it and thought it was terible the animation had changed slightly and the voices of course were different. My dad saw the same program on a few years ago and he couldn't watch it either because it wasn't the old peanuts that he grew up with when he was kid.

That is why we should be thankful that they released it on Blu-Ray so we can watch it every year during the Christmas season!

Nothing really special. It's just the bd cases with slipbox and a fake snowglobe housed in a box. I saw it last year and passed it up. I think WB could've done a better job. Something like the A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation tin packaging.

That's a sweet deal. I was happy to get it for $30 from Amazon as the holiday Blu-Rays really hadn't dipped to low prices before this year.

I like the slim Blu-Ray case and the window clings. The fake snow globe is really a missed opportunity as it's so impractical and unimpressive. But the specials are what counts, and they are very well-represented.

Does anyone know why they never include It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown with these Peanuts holiday collections? I remember years ago when WB put these out on DVD, they also didn't include it.
