Amazon?

Hi, I just recently made an order in for Amazon. I ordered 3 Blu-Ray movies. I have a double charge on my Bank Account. WaMu said since it's pending there's nothing they can do about it. But the lack of English speaking (Very hard to understand) said something about authorization charge, I only got charged once and then an authorization charge, that I will receive back. But why is there two $41.99 charges? Is there normal with Amazon for new accounts, to charge an authorization charge for the price of the product. The idiot on the phone said there's only one $41.99 charge, but yet there's two. I could not get him to understand that there two charges for $41.99. I can see the $1 authorization charge for my Amazon Prime Account. But can someone explain to me what is going on and what I should be doing. I am 18 and still learning this banking stuff. Is the language barrier causing me to not understand something the person from Amazon was saying?
