Question 3d Hdtv

http://www.hdtvuk.tv/2006/09/philips_demonst.html

What's new about this TV is that you don't have to wear those silly 3D glasses to appreciate it. "The set, which was developed by Philips, is entertaining guests (presumably a few conference attendees) with 3D images of gaming action." reports TVPredictions.com.

Definitely liking the concept. Sadly, many years away from us.

a stereoscopic lens in front of hd camera or someting that doesn't require glasses

is better then using cheap glasses i'm surprised alot of hdtvs don't have wowvx technology

You can watch all your action movies in 3-D right now.

Just get neutral grey sunglasses and a normal (transparent) one with the same frame, and make one from both that has the left eye clear and the right eye with the neutral grey one. Then watch action sequences. (sequences with movement)

*warning: dont know what the long term effects may be to your vision after watching countless hours of action movies like this.

or your wallet.

That sounds hazardous. I think I'll wait for the 3D HDTV.

I had some stuff about this posted awhile back, looks like the site dosen't go that far back. Maybe they are archived somewhere? It had a link to a holo tv that had Madison Square Garden in a quasi holographic 3d type display
