Default 160 GB Hard Drive

I've found a spot online selling the Western Digital Scorpio 160 GB hard drive for $120 Canadian. The drive is SATA-150, 5400 RPM, 8MB cache.

This is a great drive for the PS3, right? I should jump on this now, right?

From what I've seen I can't find the drive online for $120US.

I was actually looking for a seagate drive when I stumbled across this one. The SKU is WD1600BEVS

FYI: This site has had some of the best prices in canada for many years now. Used them a lot when I enjoyed hacking around with systems.

Doesn't a faster drive cause heat problems?

It'll work great - that's the exact drive I have in my PS3. I got it from NewEgg about a month or so ago for $110.

Great. I psyched to get it and fill it up with stuff. Side question - Will my 8GB Sansa be big enough for the back-up. I know I will have to delete some stuff like the Ridge Racer install information but thats easy to replace. I'm hoping not to delete to many trailers and DL'd games. For examplre I don't see Cash Guns Chaos on the PS store anymore.
