Default What exactly is BD-Live useful for?

Do you think BD-Live is yet another useless gimmick on a 50 GB disc.

Could it cause a disc to load slower than a non BD-Live disc.

Q. On TDK: does a spinning disc appear before the disc goes from

3 to 4 ? I've never seen that thing before.

I'm sure there are some people who love it , & others who don't. I don't have any use for it... I'm not sure what you mean when you say , "From 3 to 4" , is that from scene 3 to 4 , or ?? I know the spinning disc icon, but....?

Actually, there's an uncanny delay for this film to begin. That ICON
stays on for at least 45 seconds. I have lots of BR. Only TDK does this.

Sometimes I have to nudge it along to get the film started.

1 is the FBI message.
2 some other thing.
3 the movie rating.
4 the start of the film.

It's for making your player skip, pause and lock up during playback, just like bonus view and java.

Absolutely nothing....For now.

Maybe in the future when the companies know how to use it properly, we will see something that is useful on it.

BD-Live (and BD-J for that matter) exist purely because HD DVD had something similar and it was a big talking point of the red ants (why? I don't know. These features are crap and while the ubernerds that adopted HD DVD in the beginning loved them, the mainstream public/consumer would have never cared when choosing a format).
