Default Blu-ray Player Sales Beat 2008 Estimates

Great to see how good blu-ray is doing through the holiday season!

http://www.tvpredictions.com/blu010609.htm
Adams Media Research said yesterday that it was raising its year-end estimate of U.S. homes with standalone Blu-ray players from 2.9 million to 3.1 million.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Blu-ray Disc player sales were strong through the holidays, and even the season's so-so disc sales went well enough to sustain industry hopes that the format can still become a next-gen cash cow for the studios.

A lot of friends and family members went blu-ray this year.

It was defintly a blu-ray year.Grabbing a player for 200 you can see why.Samsung lowered there price on the 1500 big time.It seems everyone i know now has this player.

This is awesome for blu-ray and for us as consumers
Bring on the movies,And maybe they will start putting out more concerts that i like
