Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone heard of a release date for these?I know TIST was delayed from 1/20 but I hav'nt heard anything else,has anybody?

If memory serves, the HD DVD version was as bad as the import of "Company of Wolves." Though I am not in favor of excessive DNR, the viewing experience was like watching parts of the film through a snow globe! It also lacked depth and fine detail. I sure hope Universal takes its time getting this one right. It is one of John Landis' best. My guess is that it will resurface on Blu-ray around the time Universal unleashes its "Wolfman" remake. I am also hoping some of those classic Universal monster titles wll be released as well.

Just purchased This is Spinal Tap on Blu from Target for $12.99

Really great PQ and the commentary is hilarious! Done in character, basically like watching (or listening) to a whole new movie

Great picture quality...hmmmm. Been thinking about upgrading to the new Tap BD, but wasn't sure how much of an improvement the picture quality would receive, considering the film's lower budget, film stock, age, etc.

Might have to grab this one after all.
