see they say films like punisher is a super hero film which I (and i know others here) dont agree with, and this is the first time ive seen unbreakable refered to as a superhero movie (never seen the movie so i cant really argue).. same with Mask and Son of the Mask, dont see these as superhero movies... and they leave out the 2 power ranger films... so everyone feel free to still contribute please

Well They consider The Punisher a superhero because he is a Marvel comic and in a way he is like Batman. lost all his family and now is a vigalantee. Unbreakable is considered a superohero because the plot revolves around the superhero genre.

yeah i knew thats why the addressed Punisher in that way... ive seen numerous discussions as to if he is or not... IDK for some reason he just never seemed like a superhero to me:/

If you get into the nitty gritty, Punisher is like Batman. Neither of them have super powers, but they fight crime with gadgets/guns.

I consider the Matrix trilogy "superhero" films. Neo fits in very well with a superhero narrative.
