Default Die Another Day: Special Features

Review States:
MGM has, again, ported all of the film's DVD extras over to this Blu-ray release. Die Another Day features every single item from that DVD collection.

Not true re 2003 Special Edition DVD.

If you enjoy Extras, you will need to keep disc 2 from this DVD set. Virtually ALL of the extras on disc 2 DVD are NOT on the BD. And there are many. Only the Image Database is on the BD. The BD doses have many extras that are not on the DVD though. I verified this by checking the actual discs. Possibly the error in the review has to do with a 2008 Ultimate Edition 2 DVD set which may have different extras vs the 2003 2 disc Special Edition DVD set.

I have the Special and Ultimate Edition DVD as well as the Blu. As far as the Blu I only watch the movie, and i'm pretty sure the Halle Berry Easter Egg bonus is not there...

The Madonna video was noticeably absent. I recall other features missing as well on the Blu-ray.

What is that easter Egg & is it on the 2003 or the 2008 DVD or both?

I hope it is her scene from "Swordfish!" <GRIN> Horrid movie but, nice scene.

People theorize next year to tie in with Skyfall, but no confirmation yet.

As for Die Another Day, fortunately I hung onto the DVD. My least favorite entry, but at least it looks pretty on BD

It is hard to explain without being confusing but...

The majority of the special features included with the 2003 special edition two-disc DVD set were not carried over to the Blu-ray Disc.

Rather the special features included on the 2005 ultimate edition two-disc DVD are on the Blu-ray Disc.

If you are a Bond fan, either keep the second disc from the 2003 release (if you have it) or hunt it down for the complete package.

Definitely in the 2003 Special Edition, an extended version and multiple angles of Halle Berry coming out of the water the main reason to keep the dvd

I had to Google it to find it:

Insert Disc 2, select the "Image Database" from the main menu, then select "Sets And Locations". Press the right arrow 12 times (should be a picture of Halle Berry in a bikini). Press up then enter on the remote to be taken to a secret menu. On this menu you can select one of the three angles used to edit the scene or all 3 angles at once. You can also switch between the angles with the angle button on your DVD Remote.
