Bond Girls thread - Blu-ray Forum

I finally watched Caino Royale last night. I was under the impression that Bond girls are supposed to be drop dead gorgeous, bombshells. This bond girl wasn't even pretty. So far I don't have a favorite past bond girl. Now I have my least favorite or the one that will be on the bottom of my list. I actually think that the lady riding the horse on the beach would have been a better fit for the role. Do you agree or disagree?

Disagree

I found her facial expressions especially tasty when attempting to outwit Bond on the train. She's not the curviest lady, but the face more than makes up for it.

She is one of the top notch beautiful looking girls.

Are you young? ... because young people wouldn't know what tastes good. This requires some life experience, and a little bit of artistic sense. Give yourself some time.... years pass by, and one day you will wake up and realize how beautiful she is. This girl, Eva Green, is *probably* the 2nd most beautiful girl in all of the James Bond series. There is a lot of emotion to it in this movie, and very intimate. I find Sophie Marceau the most beautiful girl in the James Bond series. Another reason why Eva Green is so damn beautiful is that she is a half French and half Swedish. When you add Swedish into the mix you are asking for a bomb.... Okiedok..

Anyways, my top favorite beautiful girls are:

1. Sophie Marceau (French)
2. Eva Green (French & Swedish)
3. Irene Jacob (French)

ahh...... well....... maybe Irene falls within top 5. Sophie Marceau is already 40 now.

But Eva Green is a fresh meat....... age 25. So she takes over now.

I want a Blu-Ray release for the James Bond: The World Is Not Enough.

and yes I have the Blu-Ray version for the Casino Royale.... I would have to be crazy to not get it.... hehe

I agree with you, totally. I watched this movie in the theaters 3 times. And the first day when the BD version was released, I watched this movie on my plasma and when Eva first showed up in the train and I was like....... Oh...... my........... God. And when James and Vesper got in the taxi and when showed her face I literally cried. The picture was best I have seen in my entire 30 years of life. She looked beautiful. of course she looked even more beautiful in the bathroom when she was putting her makeup, and the rest of the scenes....

Well you're wrong. I'm not Japanese and I'm not young. I'm in the military. I've been on each US coast and every corner. I've been around the world three (3) times, from the Asian countries through the US, all over Europe, some countries in the middle east, and South America. I'm Panamanian and a US citizen. In Central America I've only been to Panama and Mexico. I am Fluent in 4 languages and am learning Japanese.

So yes, I've had my share of international relations and many life experiences. What do you have under your belt? Maybe it's you that needs to experience life other than fantasize about this second rate bond girl. I didn't say that she is ugly, just not Bond girl quality. I do know a beauty when it's right in front of me. I've had many.

I still laugh every time I hear the name, "***** Galore," and can't believe that was allowed on film back then.

Eva Green is gorgeous. Especially in "that dress" during the card game.
