First Transformers 2 trailer to be shown during the Superbowl - Blu-ray Forum

Surprisingly, Warner Bros. hasn’t bought a television spot despite having a great line-up of films that would appeal to the Superbowl crowd: Terminator Salvation, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Watchmen.

And remember, the Academy Awards will allow film advertising for the first time in the first time in Oscar telecast history, and many expect the premiere of exclusive trailers during that telecast as well.

The Superbowl has always been a showcase for first looks at summer movies. It's interesting that Transformers will first be seen there instead of in theaters.

Also that's a big list of trailers. Last year the Studios shunned the Superbowl. I think there were only two trailers, and crappy ones at that.

Yeah, let's put on the great musicians of today, like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Today's top 40 music sucks, that's why the Super Bowl usually features older, more established/respected music acts.

As for the Transformers 2 trailer, looking forward to it.

Based on the image of The Fallen portrayed on the poster, it looks as if the Decepticon faction symbol was modeled after him. That should make for an interesting back story. This is going to be a really good movie.

this movie is gonna freeking rock. Im not into sports too much, but I might just sit down and watch the superbown for this one. This year is gonna rock, an awesome line up of movies.
