Default Panasonic portable Blu-Ray Player DMP-B15

I have nbeen looking at the new things at CES 2009 and for me this is what i think is a cool piece of kit.

Just the price may hurt a bit

Please Panasonic keep your prices down

Since my screen, AVR, and speakers aren't portible I'm really not seeing the appeal of a portable BR player. If its going in the car for the kiddies w/ the small screen, crap speakers and road noise I'd just get the DVD and be done w/ it.

Yes, but what about when you only buy Blu-rays and you can't watch them in the car? I agree that Blu-ray's advantages won't be visible on such a small screen but I know I personally would be screwed if I wanted to watch something in the car because almost all my collection is Blu-ray.
