Has anyone heard of these? Are they any good for sound production or not really? I'd just like some tips on what to expect from them, or should I be browsing in a different brand name when looking at speakers?

Mission makes great speakers that can be highly refined and detailed. They've won numerous speaker of the year awards in the UK in years past for various price points.

As with any purchase though, especially with speakers, it always pays to listen to them before you buy. I'd recommend listening to Missions as well as speakers such as:

Monitor Audio
Paradigm
B&W

I heard the E80's at a local shop here awhile ago, absolutely amazing speakers.
not exactly cheap though, I think they were 3500 a pair.

Yeah im not spending that much on speakers. But I just wanted to get an opinion. Some guy tried to sell me some QAC's (which i cant find online anywhere) telling me they're made by the guy who started making Missions.
I listened to them, they were either shit or set up badly, as they sounded hollow and dull.
