I've asked this before, but never really got a decent answer. If I put the exact same settings for brightness, contrast, etc...into every picture mode, will the end result be exactly the same when flipping modes? Hope that makes sense. I currently calibrated my plasma in the "custom" picture menu, but I've seen people say do it in the "film/cinema" setting. Also, are there some magic chips that come into play when having the different modes? Does VIVID use anything different than CINEMA? Do you see what I'm saying? Just wondering if anyone has tested this, thought I would ask before I start jacking up all my settings. thanks.
