Default History Channel's "The Comanche Wars" (sequel to Texas Rising)

Well, for those who have seen the History Channel mini-series "Texas Rising" and you caught the very end, you might have noticed that the series ends with a bit of a cliffhanger leading into the Comanche Wars after the election of Sam Houston as President of Texas. Well, as the series closes, we get a bit of on-screen text stating something to the effect of "to be continued in the Comanche Wars" using the same font as the Texas Rising title.

The final few minutes of Texas Rising shows the start of the local Comanche tribe getting really pissed about the onslaught of the Migration of the White Face into their lands. And if History Channel does make this series with some of the returning cast, I personally can't wait for it.

I enjoyed Texas Rising. But I'd be surprised if they do a sequel miniseries. A lot of people did not were critical of it for being historically inaccurate (personally, I felt the excellent cast overshadowed that).

They should put Texas Rising on Netflix or Hulu to see if it can regain a better reception than during its original run. Then start on Comanche Wars. Only drawback, they do decide to go through with a sequel, the best characters from the original (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Cynthia Addai Robinson and Ray Liotta) wouldn't be returning.

I also love revisiting war movies, but it's not sci-fi war but war documentaries. Any suggestions for old war movies here?
