Default what's so hard to grasp

i swear..people are realy thick headed..with the recent news on Sony's ammount of blue laser diodes production per month ..people still cannot grasp the simple things in life...i loved this check this out eproductwars.com my response to a HD-DVD fan

read on it's quite entertaining...

Sombra responds on 2007-04-25 11:14:09.0: Is the Blu-ray HD DVD Format War Over? Joeorc, the only company to declare tohe war over again and again is Sony. Look at the march announcement. Sony declared BluRay the winner...bla bla... Regarding the numbers. Where did you get the 2million Blu Ray discs. Latest numbers were "Between Jan. 1 and March 31, consumers bought nearly 1.2 million high-definition discs, 832,530 Blu-ray units and 359,300 HD DVDs, according to Home Media Magazine market research. Since inception (HD DVD launched in mid-April 2006, while Blu-ray got rolling two months later, in late June), more than 2.14 million high-definition discs have been purchased by consumers -- 1.2 million Blu-ray Discs and about 937,500 HD DVDs. " 2,14 million discs in total.... Sure BluRay right now outsells HD DVD only at a really low level. We will see what happens in 1-2 year. Report inappropriate content

Steve K responds on 2007-04-25 11:39:44.0: The 2-million Blu-ray Discs sold include the PS3 games which are Blu-ray Discs. Report inappropriate content

joeorc responds on 2007-04-25 13:17:16.0: did you not see what i posted...(5 million per month blue laser diodes) produced..where do you think those diodes are going...TO HD-DVD...? COME ON NOW- IN ORDER FOR YOU TO HAVE A BLUE TYPE LASER OPTICAL DRIVE YOU NEED THOSE DIODES...yes they can go some where else..but since at most the other places only have about 30% non failure..an since SONY HAS BEEN WORKING ON PERFECTING blue type lasers for optical drives....they are currently the # 1 blue laser diode production company in the world..they have been working on this since before 1994.....they are just now at 1.7 million for diodes for burners a month an (5 million) a month for player's only...what does that tell you i am sorry 2 million HD DVD SPREAD OUT OVER A 2 YEAR PD. COMPARED TO UPTO 5 MILLION BLU-RAY PLAYERS IN A MONTH.....NO CONTEST.... have you not read that its 2 million+ blu-ray disc's sold because not only can blu-ray sell movies but also games..an considering each blu-ray game for the playstation 3 is $60.00..its almost 3 x the cost of some blu-ray movies..an yet that same priceing SCHEME SONY an the developers an the BDA have been able to sell game's in the millions...i will say it once and i will say it again...with out selling the format disc's...the player's will not mean very much..the big point is who can lower the DISC's cost faster ..for J6P to buy..that is what its all about..keeping J6P to keep buying movies..an in this case of HD-DVD ( HD-MOVIES).but in the case OF BLU-RAY (HD MOVIES, AN GAME'S) when going into walmart..j6p LOOKS AT PRICE...BUT IF THE PRICE OF THE PLAYER IS CHEAP..BUT THE DISC'S COST IS HIGHER...COMPARED TO THE PLAYER COST IS HIGHER..BUT THE DISC COST IS LOWER..which does J6P choose..AN CONSIDER which has more major studios support..namely DISNEY...is a shure fire way to the check out line..."at least at a later time when the price of the disc's come down" but J6P in alot of cases looks at this in perspective..bottom line price...
