Default 2 PS3's Sold At Best Buy Today

Went to BB to pick up a couple of BD movies (im an addict now) and saw one PS3 being loaded into a car and the other one checking out. Really neat.

Just sharing.

Best Buy would sell more PS3s if they'd put some out on the floor. They NEVER do at the BBs in my area (Baltimore/Columbia suburbs). Some folks don't know they have to ask a salesperson to get one from stock.

The Best Buy near me has a pile in main view in front of the video games section, maybe 12-15 of them. Maybe they'll sell more as a movie player since the 1.8 firmware. I just wish games would come out quicker. All the ones I want to buy aren't coming out until 2008.

The two Best Buys near me also have a pile about 12-21 of PS3s in the main walkway in front of the video games sections.

Not the ones at my local Bestbuy, they were all real PS3 60GB that you could buy.

The one by me also has a tower built with full boxes. They must have received a shipment recently.

None of the local BestBuy's or Futureshop's here have any in stock (according to their online sites). Not sure what's up, but they must still be selling really well.

I've seen my local BB go through at least 2 pallets of PS3's. They tend to pick up and go when a whole pallet is sitting there. Currently this is a stack of about 9 - 10 60gb PS3's with a setup to play MLB 2K7, and I've seen folks playing almost every time I'm in there. This is in addition to the regular PS3 display that is encased to play. There are 3 separate sections for BD's, one which has BD movies playing. The large section has 2 Samsung BD Players and 2 PS3 60gb above the BD's. However, they also have 360's with HD DVD add-ons and a couple HD DVD players above that section as well, but I don't pay too much attention to that section.

Depends on the store and the market area.

They're display boxes if there's a high loss rate.

They're full units if not.

The 3 Best Buy's near me have 15-30 of them stacked and packed near the video games.... They can't sell them around here, unless they add to the stack periodically during the day. I'd buy one but I can't stand the controllers, very uncomfortable IMHO. BUT I would buy one if it had 7.1 analog outs just for the blu-ray, but it doesn't have that either, so I will never buy one.
