Any Firmware for the Samsung BD-P1500 to play all Regions - Blu-ray Forum

Hi

I have a Few Blu Rays and BoxSets I want to buy from England but as you know they don't play in are Blu Ray players/DVD players unless its a free range player.

Has anyone made a Firmware to unlock the BD-P1500 or any Blu Ray player yet.

I want to buy Top Gear 1-12 among other ones

I have not seen any firmware that to make the BD player region free. Would be great.

Well previous BDP1000 and 1200 , you could flash the EU firmware and turn it into a Region 2/B unit (given you could display PAL). But it's now impossible with the 1400 and 1500. The 1400 had some remote code for the Region of DVD (DVD only) too..

So are you saying you don't need to do anything for it to work
