Default Smashing Pumpkins Fans: Blu Available

Hey everybody. Just found that one of the members on the offical Smashing Pumpkins website has gotten together offical soundboard audion and concert footage and is making a release for the public. The pumpkins are even endorsing it (they have the info on there site).

it doesn't state that it was high-def...only that he was copying it to blu-ray OR DVD if you preferred....not very promising, IMO...

that sounds awful. i dig the smashing pumpkins, but i don't know i could afford to buy this. the blank disc would be costly and then the shipping would be adding more cost to it. by the end it would be more expensive probably than the msrp of most blu-rays in stores. which is a shame, because it sounds cool. love the idea. just wish it wasn't costly.

Maybe you could find sombody to split it with you, postage shouldn' be too bad. Buy a big enough flat rate box, and a smaller priority box. Put the discs in the open small box, then into the big box. Run you about $10 to ship there and back, Discs are roughly $6 each. So total, you'd probably be under $25.
I agree with you the fact that it doesn't specify whether or not it's HD is disheartening, However if you PM the guy offering it, maybe he'd be able to tell you.

most shows are 1080i and most Consumer AV Cam are 1080i ...
