Haven't seen it but now I really want to! Does anybody know if it'll be region free? I know some Arrow video blu-rays are but I wanna make sure

It will be region free. Only 1 Blu-ray from Arrow Video is region B locked and it is the regular edition of Battle Royale.

I believe subsequent pressings of The Funhouse have been Region B.

Do you know the different run times ? Cause it can be checked on BBFC site, I think ?? Or some site will list the run time on this release

I'm afraid I don't, I just read an article saying they had found some extra footage "in the vault" and they were hoping to include it. I'm afraid I can't even track the article down any more, although there's a thread on here referring to it:

Whether this stuff will just be the extra flamethrower scene and other minor extensions previously included in some foreign releases, or some entirely new stuff, I couldn't say.

Have just received it today. I checked the back of the box and it says region a,b,c.

It is Region Free, checked it in my US PS3.

Transfer's pretty damn good,(print damage aside).

I agree, and chances are this is the best the film will ever look and sound on home video...I hadn't seen this movie in a few years, and never in widescreen, so overall I was impressed. I also very much enjoyed the extras. A nice package here, and a must for any fan of the film! This isn't one of Dolph's better outings in my opinion (especially in regards to his haircut ), but it still has some great moments, namely, M. Emmet Walsh's Turrets-like character of Dewey Ferguson...
