Penny Arcade Adventures - 2 New Episodes out

After debuting on PC, XBLA and Mac earlier this year, many wondered why Penny Arcade Adventures was not coming out on PS3. Thankfully, developer Hothead Games has listened to your input and has announced a PS3 version will release on PSN later this year. "We keep getting emails asking why our Penny Arcade game is not on PSN," said Hothead's CEO, Vlad Ceraldi. "We have always said we wanted to have our games on as many platforms as possible to give choice to gamers. All good things take time and we are very excited to be debuting our first PS3 title and look forward to bringing more games to this platform in the future."

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an RPG adventure game set in a 1920s pulp-horror universe, featuring many characters from the popular Penny Arcade webcomic series. The PS3 version of the game will be priced similarly to the release on XBLA and PC. See the very first images of the PS3 version in our new gallery.

Yay! I tried the demo on PC and it was enjoyable...not exactly a perfectly designed game, but good laughs everywhere and decent gameplay.

Trophy hunters looking for an RPG fix will be able to get it this Thursday, when Penny Arcade Adventures' first episode goes live on the PlayStation Network. The PS3 version will also support custom soundtracks, score ranking and a new low price of $15 (the XBLA original cost $20). Other regions will get PAA "shortly thereafter."

Unfortunately I must skip this, for I cant forgive them for what they did...

They killed my favorite comic strip by publicly humiliating the author and unleashing waves of hatred and fanboys that demoralized this simple comic strip author who has a small family and a fellow gamer he is now extremly paranoid..

Its almost like he had his soul riped from him...

I will never know how it ends but I will never let it go, so pass for me and I do so in total disgust.

It happened a long time ago, I was not there when the first shots fired but I was there after the aftermath..

I started to follow the pieces it started with a disagreement with one of the penny arcade creators between another comic strip my favorite webcomic, and it turned into a heated argument that was posted on the news section of penny arcade the insults flew and links posted the masses knew there mission...

From what people were there when it happened it was described as penny arcade turning the entire internet into a army of darkness that swallowed the small time author... of what I consider the best webauthor i've read, he was a genius.

Originally he worked in the game industry a long time ago...

Anyway im sorry this was a event that took place many many many years ago shattered and disgusted me..

Let me give you the short short version though have you ever had someone that created something really cool get humiliated destroyed, discredited, and left almost an empty shell?
