Default HD Hockey

I'm in the Lou and the team was on a road trip, all games in SD. We get all home games in HD and some road games. My point is, after almost 3 weeks of no HD, we finally got one tonight. Is it hard to watch SD hockey for anyone else? As far as hockey it's crazy how much better the games are in HD.

Hate to watch NHL in SD, I can barely even see the puck. All major sports in HD are remarkable, MLB, NHL, NFL, NASCAR, you name it!

Agreed. Hockey in SD is TERRIBLE. Being in the Tampa Bay market, nobody cares too much about hockey, so we only see like 15 games per year in HD.

Interesting - because the Flyers played them last night and we got the HD feed on our Comcast Sports Net Philly channel

but agreed, SD hockey (especially on a cable system that still doesn't carry those game on their digital tier) look like garbage on a larger screen
beseball too...

Since Vs. has the NHL now and I don't get Vs. HD the only game I saw in HD was the outdoor game. I'm not a big hockey fan anyway, and won't watch it in SD, so I have no idea what's going on this year.

absolutely! hockey is the best sport to watch in HD, the difference is so dramatic, HD just looks spectacular, and hey, finally a good win for the note last night!!! i think next season all the games are gonna be broadcast on FSN, and most if not all of them should be in HD, cant wait!!!

I only watch Cubs games in SD because we don't have HD Comcast or WGN. I'm hoping my cable company picks those up before the season.

Well, last night's Lightning/Flyers game was in HD. One of the few.

I've got to say, the Lightning really played hard against you guys last night. That's the best hockey I've seen them play all year.

All HABS games in HD. All sports for that matter. I love when i lose HD signal for a few seconds and it goes to SD, makes me appreciate the HD so much more.

I can't do the nonHD hockey anymore... So terrible. I got my HD box not to long ago, and now I'm even watching sports I would of never watch before, cause it looks so damn good.
NHL my favorite to watch, and as a Canadian, its nice to hear you Americans talk about watching hockey

Ya that was a good game. You are right, all 82 games will be on FSNMW next year and I heard most in HD. Also Heard somebody saying during one of the games that starting in 10-11 all games will be in HD. I can't wait for that.

Every Blackhawks game is in HD this year. It is awesome. I don't think I could go back to SD, but will watch anyways if I have to.

All the Habs games are in HD on RDS HD. It's too bad i cannot get all Red Wings games, i would've loved to watch them all. I can watch them on TSN, Sportnet,RIS and in the playoffs. That's about it.

Watching hockey in HD is like watching a whole different game. It's stunning.
