Smile Placement of Front speakers and sub??

This probably has been coverd b4 but i looked and couldn't find how far u should place your frnt 2 speakers r sub theis is for my second living room which is small n e ideas would help.

Question Thanx 4 the help!

im sorry guys this is 4 my second living room and i have a blu ray player well a ps3 80 gb and two speakers and a sub with a samsung tv so im asking 3 feet and the sub behind the couches r is this such a bad set up it doesn't matter? should i face the speakers straight a head? are in corners angled in?
