Happy days. Been wondering when this will get released.

Always thought it a very under-rated movie, maybe coming at the time when it was still okay to hate on Leo. I say that as I used to hate Leo, if you'd told me in the era of Titanic and Romeo and Juliet that in a few years that he would be one of my favourite actors I would have been more than a tad bit surprised.

That and if this only gets a half decent transfer it'll still look incredible.

Love/hate relationship with this film for years -and I like it at the moment so will buy it.

I went to Thailand and to "The Beach" used in the film so I get a good feeling watching this.

Ugh, my heart sank when I saw the news. This was pretty much the ONE Blu-ray I was really looking forward to this year.

I hope this gets cleared up soon...and that it's not seriously going to be released a year and a half from now.

Felt the same way about Leo at the time, but after Inception I MIGHT even consider giving Titanic a second chance, 15 years later.

The Beach has also a special pass since Danny Boyle directed it.

I have pre-ordered this as it is down to £6 at the moment on amazon and it will hardly drop much more,I just don't get the fact that it is not released for another nine months! I mean,what's that about?

I wouldn't count on the August 1st release date really as it's a Thursday and 99% of the time UK Blu-ray releases come out on Monday's.
