And yes! This is a wonderful Blu-ray release! Have played it several times already and will again many more times! My concert BD collection gets more plays than my movies!

it is wonderful, indeed. the rehearsal doc is a treasure, too. if you're a fan of the band, you are probably aware of the legendary hostility between stewart and sting. it's still alive ("that fill will be on the f***ing cover of Modern Drummer!").

one of several shows i had the pleasure of attending, i was 4th row center, directly in front of the bass drum. from that close, i saw several instances where sting and stewart had issues on stage, which included gestures and yelling, but also rude looks and such. i'd been waiting for that experience for 24 years and it was great to see them in such legendary form, musically and behaviorally! that tension produced great material on a mere five very brief albums.

You guys that have it, how would you compare the AQ on this to the NIN and Dave/Tim Blus?

I dont have the Dave M show...but I have heard nothing but good things about that one also.

I highly recommend The Police show...stunning PQ (imo) and AQ is great

I would put the Police above NIN and Dave and Tim (I own all 3), but just a hair

I would put the Police and John Mayer on par with eachother though with NIN and Dave and Tim just below. Just my opinion, and all this is strictly AQ.

All I can say is WOW! Not a huge fan but know most of the music on this release.

The PQ is insane and the sound from the TrueHD recording is pumping out over 8.5 mbps in some instances. Had to adjust the sub a couple times. Lots of Bass

This is a really awsome concert!

for me, one of the best parts is the 2 songs that you can flip the camera angle to a shot locked on Stuart Copeland. You hear great drums on cds and such, and then you watch it up close and personal here...I have absolutely no idea how a great drummer does what he/she does, but what Stuart does here is really pretty amazing.

So my wife sits down for one song (Roxanne) and asks if Sting has rubberbands in his mouth? I looked and it looked like maybe. anyone else have thoughts? Ahh the beauty of High Def.
