Default The wife rearranged the furniture!

I've always known furnishings will impact the way sound travels in a room, but wow what a difference after my wife changed things around. Bass is actually lingering, and of course the overall balance is off. She did do a great job and the room looks great, but it's time to bust out the spl. I had everything calibrated pretty well, but I fear I may need to get some room treatments now.

My wife is a big fan of rearranging also. But she knows better than to move things around in the living room. She gets to move things around in any room but the living room.

Note to single guys. If you ever get married, then make sure your wife stays out of the theater room except for viewing.

Let me know how that works out for you as you get older and wider. Lil' hint- the "new models" aren't going to want to give the creepy old man the time of day.

There's one opinion. Really, though, I'm not annoyed at all. My wife kicks a$$ in just about everything and I'd be an ID10T to get on her about something so trivial. I was really just more surprised at how much it affected the sound. I expected a difference, sure, but not so drastically. Besides it's nothing that can't be remedied with a few adjustments, and it's already given me a favorable excuse to get some room treatments I've been wanting.

you do realize you just used a double negative (don't and never) so you basically just said you will get married.

Although i do agree, better to trade up or try something new as things get old.

Hmmm...not sure if I'd mind. I guess the grass is always greener.

I'm sure it will work out fine for you. Just so long as the tv isn't facing an open window...Oh wait....new curtains...problem solved...everybody wins.

Who knows....I keep meeting psychos, so I think you are all pretty lucky and I have no advice for you. Now...when you walk in on your wives snorting coke off their grlfriend's thighs....THEN you message me and I'll console you.

Until then...enjoy your wives and your domestic issues.
Please...count your blessings.
