Thought this deserved a seperate thread to organize the [Blu] clan or other clans that will be established.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there 32 players to a clan? Or less?

I will be putting together a clan for this game, Team Revelation [ReV] and our motto is "Fun, Fair, Competition" I have a web site coming soon!!!

I have formerly organized clans for Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. We are always competitive on the gamebattles ladder, first or second page. SOCOM is a bit of a different animal with all the love for the game, but I still stand by a commitment to ensure fun and competitive gameplay for those involved.

Requirements:

West Coast Player (available 10pm-1am most nights)
Headset
Age, 18+ preferred
email or IM that you check hourly for updates
**Due to the nature of this game being more about teamwork than individual skill, I am specifically not seeking those players who want to be the lone wolf or Rambo. I prefer people who can work together take orders and when necessary give orders to teammates.

sounds like fun, wish i could join but i play way too many diffrent games at a time to make a commitment of this nature

Apparently gamebattles will no longer be needed as its operated all the PS3 network once logging in.

I was waiting for this game (didn't get into beta), but all I've heard are bugs, bugs and more bugs. Seems like the game is going to undergo a process of "being fixed" for a bit.

And I haven't seen anything that screams "BUY ME" yet. Perhaps if they release a demo I can play and see how it's coming.

With LBP and EndWar coming, time will be limited.

I'm not sure if I'll do what saprano said, due to all the bugs and all. Plus the gameplay was a bit bland in the beta. I think I'll buy the bundle just so I can sell back the game and make a profit over buying the headset alone.

+1. I"m going to pick up at the store next Thursday. I've never played Socom before but i've heard really good things. Even if I don't end up playing too much, it's still worth it because of the bluetooth.

i'll pick it up but not on release day. i even cancelled my preorder at gamestop after the beta lol. i know it doesnt reflect the finished product but it seemed like they butchered my oh so favorite Socom 2 with the remake of Crossroads. however i WILL pick this up at some times JUST for the headset. i just hope its not a limited time only bundle...is it?

After playing COD4 for 11 months and logging 21,000 kills, I am officially retiring that game as of Monday night. Why?

Because SOCOM is coming baby and it is gonna be the shyte! I am also buying it for the game and NOT the headset.

I've never played a SOCOM game before so I was thinking of getting this one... but then I heard about MAG (Massive Action Game) and decided that I'd rather wait for that. COD4 will forever be in my life....

I would join a clan (COD4), but I too play different games and I mostly play on the weekends or almost everyday during holidays.
