Default Movies about Movies

I've been trying to find a list of movies whose plots center on the film industry in some degree or fashion. I recently picked up Robert Altman's "The Player" and own "Swimming with Sharks" (great cult classic for those who haven't seen it). Any other recommendations?

I liked that movie "Be Kind Rewind" starring Jack Black and Mos Def. The 1st half was better than the 2nd half, but still entertaining.

Be Kind, Rewind is really a great movie imo. The first half has the fun and the other movie references, but it's a great feelgood ending. My eyes misted up, I won't lie.

Some that are [loosely] tied to movies:

Sunset Blvd.
Singin' in the Rain
The Bad and the Beautiful

Sullivan's Travels
Ed Wood
The Stunt Man

Mulholland Drive
Gods and Monsters
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (this counts, right?)

Adaptation - was that a movie about a movie, or a movie about a book, or a movie about a book being turned into a movie? I have seen it once, but forget...

All very good choices. I thought Peter O'toole was excellent in The Stunt Man. Of course, Singin in the Rain is one of the best films ever made.

State and Main.

I doubt anyone realizes what exactly an "Associate Producer" credit is until they've watched this movie.
