I am thinking about importing the following Blu-rays from the U.K. and was wondering if I would have any problems playing the extras in a Region A PS3.
Bonnie and Clyde One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest The Eagle Has Landed The Boys from Brazil Natural Born Killers Poltergeist Also, does anyone know of any websites that review imported discs that could answer these questions, so that I don’t keep bugging you guys every time I want to import something? Thanks. |

I really couldn't tell you about the extras, I have a feeling that the Warner titles you may not have a problem with (Bonnie and Clyde, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Natural Born Killers and Poltergeist) The other two I have no idea. BTW are you in the U.S.? or Canada because all the Warner titles are the same in Region A as they are in the U.K. Warner doesn't region lock anything.

I see your POV on this; the US releases of Cuckoo's Nest and Bonnie & Clyde are Digibooks (or whatever they're called). That bothers me as well. I'd rather them being in a regular Blu case to match the rest of my collection. Besides, the UK often has nicer artwork than the US (for example, the Rambo movies were original poster art in the UK and they rocked).

Warner, Sony, Paramount, Disney, Fox, and Universal always provide their extras in NTSC. So if these are the companies selling the disc, you'll be fine.
Its the local smaller companies like Optimum, Cine Asia, and Dutch Filmworks who include the extras in PAL. |

I'm just grasping at straws but the Warner titles he listed are in Digibook packages for the US release while the UK releases are in standard keepcases.
Believe me, there are some people who would import a title to get it in a case that will match the rest of their library. |
