Box Office Showdown! | 6/20-6/22 | Jersey Boys, Think Like A Man Too

Very interesting week. Two decently popular films of a very different nature going up against the second weeks of two huge sequels. Don't forget that the first TLAM movie opened to over $30 million in late April 2012. It could be a huge surprise! Musicals tend to be hit or miss...how will it all play out?

3) Think Like a Man 2 ~ 18 Million
4) Maleficent ~ $11 million
5) Jersey Boys ~ $10 million
6) Edge of Tomorrow ~ $9 million

Think Like a Man 2 is the hardest one to predict because I'm not sure what the current standing is with Kevin Hart. Ride Along did amazing but About Last Night didn't. I say 22 Jump Street will edge it out, but they both will have a cancelling effect on each other.

The first Think Like A Man made 33 million it's first weekend.

I think it will be a very close battle between that, Jump Street, and Dragon.

I'll be taking the week off from cinemas. This has got to be one of the most mediocre summer seasons ever.

Everything has mostly been just meh.

Hart movie should take #1.

It got #1 in April 2012 with just 2,015 theaters and $33.6 million. This one could creep even closer to 2,500.

Well considering the type of film, and the actual written consensus, I'd say that's not half bad. Maybe I should of said 'rather' instead of 'really'.
