Anyone ever get the wrong disc in your case? I just did..

This is kinda off topic but I have been watching Dexter Season 3 for the last 2 days and I just got to disc 4... Well, for some "god hates me for watching Dexter" reason; Disc 4 from season 3 is not disc 4 from season 3. I put it in and it said "Season 2"... We were like wtf, typo?... nope. The episode on it was the season finale from season 2 that we watched on netflix.

I don't even own a season 2, but I got a mix up I guess. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Anyone ever try returning it (I bought mine at target about 2 weeks ago when it was on sale for 14.99)? Or am I the only lucky one that got a season 2 disc smashed in with my season 3 movies?

Again.. I don't own the season 1 or 2, just 3 and 4.

I got the phillies world series dvd set with all the games from the 08 world series and got two game fours instead of a game 2. Exchanged it and got a new one. These errors do happen occasionally.

This happened to me on Lost Season 4. What was supposed to be disc 4 was disc 1 again. I just exchanged the set.

No, but I have bought blu-rays and opened the case up to reveal NO DISC AT ALL. That just happened when I bought Micheal Jackson's: This Is It. Bought it, came home, no disc. Now I have to go back and go through the horrible replacement process.

So, so far it sounds like everyone didn't have a problem returning their discs. That's good.

Never happened to me and I have a lot of movies. Just got lucky. My friend got watchman and it had a really bad scratch across it. He complained and the manufacture refunded the money and replaced the disc.

Maybe if you complain to the disc manufacture and mention you don't have season two but want it (if you do) they might throw it in for free. Or take it back to target, they should at least replace it...

I used to buy and not open till I watched the movie. After my friend got the scratched disc I open right away and check the disc.

A friend of mine bought a DVD once and it had a blank CD-R inside. Totally factory sealed with all three sides containing the security stickers. You could clearly tell it had not been tampered with after it left the factory. Very weird!

Never happened with DVD or BD with me personally. However, when I worked at Blockbuster from 2001 to 2004 I must have seen at least 5 DVD cases with the wrong discs in them that had come from the distributors.

My story is slightly different. I ordered Battle Los Angeles steelbook from Walmart.com and they sent me the regular case combo pack. I exchanged it at my nearest Walmart for the steelbook. The next day Walmart.com refunded me $10.00. I guess they were aware of their mistake and gave me the partial refund as an apology. Overall, I bought the steelbook for $14.99.

I haven't encountered this with any of my Blu-Rays, but I remember buying the Vista Series DVD of "Roger Rabbit" several years ago, and it had two copies of the first disc inside; that really irked me, to say the least.

Ha, funny that you ask this. I just now opened up my Cars 2 5 Disc Combo Pack Only to discover that they packaged 2 DVD's and no Blu-Ray . I sent Disney an email and I hope I can get my Blu-Ray copy.

That's never happened to me before. I remember one time I did get two of the same disc one time in a set.

I recently bought a brand new sealed copy of Fast Five steelbook from BestBuy and it was empty, no discs or inserts. Exchanged it the next day with no problems.

The DVD was the right one, but I recently bought a copy of Bad Timing which didn't come with the booklet for the film, but instead an insert for The 400 Blows.

This happened to me in a way. Bought the LOTR set from Amazon about 10 months ago. Just got around to watching ROTK last week. When I put in the second disc, it was actually disc 1 again. It is clearly labeled as disc 2 though. Wonder if it is even worth trying to get a replacement disc this far from purchase.

Just once when I bought "Deadwood- The Complete Series." I ended up with two copies of Season 3, disc 3. So, I was missing the 4th disc of that season. I emailed WB and they resolved it asap.

Contact WB and they'll replace that 2nd disc for you.
