It might be ok if you slightly angle the center channel down towards your seats

Is there any way to raise your tv up as far as it'll go, and put the center channel in front or below the tv?

moving the mount arms down a few holes on back of your tv will raise it up some too.

the CLR 2002 is 6 3/4 inches tall. So you need about 7 inches clearance to put center below or in front.

I'd be much more worried about the amp sitting in that tiny space, cooking itself. Seriously, man, get it out of there. Check your manual and you'll see that you're not giving it nearly enough space for airflow:

Quote:
VENTILATION CAUTION
When installing this unit, make sure to leave space around the unit for ventilation to improve heat radiation (at least 60 cm at top, 10 cm at rear, and 30 cm at each side).
As far as I can see, your solution is to get rid of that cabinet and get something appropriate.

The CLR 2002 doesn't have a top woofer(CLR 2300, 2500 & 3000 do), just two 5 1/4 inch mids & a 1 inch tweeter on the front face. Take the two front CLR 2002 feet off. Screw the rear center foot out, so the rear is propped up. This would angle the CLR 2002 downwards about 3 to 5 degrees.

The Receiver is fine, there is alot more room than you think..the whole back is open and theres atleast 3 or 4 inches of space on top of the receiver.I always place my hand back there and its only warm not enough to be worried about, stick to the topic of the thread oh and thanks for the info non the center i didnt know that the 2002 didnt have a woofer on top

Take a look at my HT gallery. You will see that I have my center channel facing upward a bit. I happened to have some 1½" round, black soft-plastic circular pads with the adhesive on one side (you can pick them up at any hardware store or X-mart). They are about 1/8 of an inch thick. I stuck two together (adhesive to adhesive side) and then stuck the third one onto the two (so that there is no adhesive on the outside). My center channel speaker has for "feet" on it, and I just placed the two pads under the front two feet. You can do the same on the rear of your chosen center channel speaker to angle it downward.

These black pads go well with my theater motif. On yours, it would never be an issue because they would be at the rear of the speaker, hidden.

Easier yet, here's the pic in question. You can see the pads pretty clearly in the pic.
