pretty much any character played by jason isaacs...lucius malfoy, the captain from the patriot. he makes you hate the character so much

Not a movie character, but I will go with George Lucas. How in the world can the Star Wars movies be held in such high regard with such horrible dialogue. The dialogue in the first three movies (Episodes IV-VI) was passable at best. Then comes along Episodes I-III and I was ready to kill myself.

Quite possibly the worst movie writing ever for movies that are supposed "blockbusters".

End rant.

I wouldn't say someone who left me enraged, but my favorite movie A-Hole is Chet from Weird Science.

More along the enraged lines, I'd say Billy Zane's character in Titanic.
