Default $29 Shipped 1GB Ipod Shuffles from Apple.com (Refurbished/Full Warranty)

Not sure how many of you here own an Ipod, but for those that don't or perhaps want another one that's great for exercising/working out, Apple.com is offering (for a limited time) refurbished 1GB Ipod Shuffles for $29.00 shipped. They include everything a new shuffle includes (1 year warranty, earphones, dock, etc.) minus the case. Thought I'd give people a heads up .

Are the headphones, at least new? I may pick this up for running.

I personally have never been able to use the headphones that come with Ipods, but I guess some people like them.
I have a 1 GB shuffle and use it when I mow. It's nice to clip it on your shirt. It's so light you don't even know you're wearing it. I bought mine about a year and a half ago for $39 refurbished and it was in perfect condition and I haven't had any problems. I would never have known it was refurbished because it was in perfect condition.

Yea, the original headphones suck. I have a really nice expensive pair, that I use with my iPod Classic. But I want the shuffle for running and just don't feel right using pricing headphones, when I will be covered in sweat. Cheap stock headphones are fine.

Refurbished products from Apple are always the best. I never bought any of them before, but I always hear good stories about them.

This is tempting. I have an IPhone, but could use a light weight MP3 Player for when I'm mowing or jogging.

I'm typing on a refurbished macbook and 2 of the 3 ipods in the house are refurbished. All the refurbished stuff has come looking and acting new.

Can't get into Mp3 though... would rather just wait and put on a CD when I have the time. I guess I could get lossless files onto my ipod but... for whatever reason... I'm just not bonding with it. Tried to tell my wife I didn't want one but she didn't believe me.
