might wanna get those eyes checked :P
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1209166340317 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1199496527703 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1201913281123 There are a ton more there as well, I was just trying to show 1 from several different brands I will admit though that the bestbuy.com site doesn't appear to be as good as the bestbuy.ca site which actually lists TrueHD and DTSHD in their specification list. It's much easier to tell which receivers support if on the .ca site |

Whether you're buying from BB or not, you absolutely should not depend on their website to give you full specs on their merchandise. If you see a model that interests you, Google it and get the full story.
Also: Amazon will always have better prices, and will link you to other merchants, most notably Crutchfield. and a bonus bit: Crutchfield bench tests almost everything they sell, so you will get more accurate and complete specs from them than you would from the manufacturer, and a more objective reveiw than what you would get from Cnet (if they ever get around to actually reviewing any of the new receivers). Dude, just get a Denon 2309, it's the poop, (or a 1909 if the 2309 is too pricey). |

OP stated that Best Buy's product description (linked in bajor27's post) for said receiver mentioned nothing about the lossless codecs---and he was right. Denon's own site, OTOH...which was my point, that manufacturers are more reliable than retailers when it comes to researching product specs.
