Early spottings: Raging Bull, Donnie Darko, Boondock Saints - Blu-ray Forum

I just wanted to let everyone here know that I spotted these three releases today at Best Buy among the blu-rays, not in the new release section. they were each 29.99 so I didn't pick any up but I'm sure someone here would be happy to grab them.

saw that too but i thought it might have been released today and forgot about it.

I waited because of amazon as well. I like those movies (some more than others) but I don't need them that badly.

Boondock is region locked according to the site i use.

Yeah, according to AxelMusic.com (who supposedly test every release) the US version of Boondock Saints is unfortunately region locked. There's no confirmation either way on the Canadian release though, but I guess that it's unlikely that it will be region free.

Thanks for the tip. I know my local Blockbuster puts some movies out early so I'll give that a try.

Guess we have to see what the canadian release does then, since a region B release hasnt even been announced i think.
Damn regions, this was my favorite title this month.

Best Buy has dropped the price on Raging Bull to $22.99 on their website, so just print the page and they should price match it in the store.

I went by four Best Buys in the Austin, TX area today and found only 2 copies of Donnie Darko in 1 store. I snagged one copy, but what I was really hoping for was some Boondock Saints. Nada.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait till next week.

Why don't you do what most people do and just order it online?

Because I still have about $400 on a Best Buy gift card.

Why order it and wait when I have free time to visit several Best Buys in one day and purchase it in the store?
