Pairing BD Remote with PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Trying to pair a PS3 BD Remote with my PS3. When I get to the screen instructing me to hold the Start and Enter buttons, I do so but the screen does not change. Have held the buttons for up to 90 seconds but still nothing. Put fresh batteries in remote and still nothing. Any ideas?

You should only hit Start+Enter for 5 seconds.

could be a faulty remote. just a thought.

yeah could be faulty. worse comes to worse, just exchange for another one.
