Anyone use DVD+R Double Layer for ps3 before? - Blu-ray Forum

I try to play vob media file that is over 4gb in ps3, would it work with a double layer dvd? i just copy and paste to the disk right?

Usually VOBs are no bigger than 1GB since during authoring, the DVD encoder can link multiple VOBs to provide for a seamless playback. You may want to look into splitting the VOBs into files less than 4GB, just in case. If you have Sequential Playback on in the settings, you can play the video seamlessly.
