Also a big downer in my eyes Japan is getting the HDD stocked consoles and not core models because there will be large amounts of downloadable content exclusive to Japan and the HDD is needed for that. In addition any game made to come out only in Japan and there are several planned will be very extra content heavy and are free to require and use the HDD to the full extent possible. Way to make a grab at the Japanese market by alienating USA and Europe MS....this is what everyone outside Japan wanted and was afraid the core console would cause

Also, they said theres still possible plans of HD-DVD models at a later date and they take no stand on whether or not HD-DVDs will be used for games. Now in my opinion if they planned on never making HD-DVD games, they would come out and make an official statement this will never happen.....instead they leave it open-ended so they can screw over everyone who bought a 360 early on. Seriously I think they are trying to throw this console war away.

A note on the revolution controller I dont much care for it but....it can sense how you move it back and forth and shoots kinda like a light gun/remote control and can plug in accessories to the remote much too gimmicky for me and I dont think its geared towards hardcore players.

Sony doesnt show much new videos for games other than the insane MGS4 trailer one of the big show highlights. However they do announce a full over 100 titles discluding many of the e3 games. I think that puts the total to around 160 announced.

Many titles dont have names because they want to announce them later and produce more attention Wink An impressive amount of 3rd party developers to be sure. 360 makes a strong showing to appeal to Japan this show since they are about to launch and need it badly.
