Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves goes blu on May 26th - Blu-ray Forum

Warner Home Entertainment has officially announced a street date for Kevin Costner's Robin Hood, for an expected due date of May 26, 2009. It appears it'll be the Extended Version found on the previous Special Edition DVD.

Ill keep it more updated once more news become available.

The special edition DVD isn't very good picture wise,so i hope they clean it up right.

Classic alert! I always wondered when this title would be released. Yay, its one of my favs. Pls Warner do not f@ck this title up in any way.

I have had some serious moments to the soundtrack of this film

i do kind of wish warner would include both theatrical and extended editions. some of the scenes in the extended weren't great and its not like you can choose to watch the movie without them (without fast forwarding)

I like the movie; although, the casting could have been better. I would have to think about a purchase on this one.

Though not from Warner catalog titles, but I would of preferred Dance with the Wolves with Kevin Costner from MGM/Fox instead.

They're taking away the movies Oscar and giving it to Goodfellas.

The good question is there is still no specific due date/year to when it is actually coming. After it got postponed.
