My daughter and I watched this a few weeks ago and she loved it. I'm a fan of the show too, but the movie was ok. But we will be adding it to our collection day 1. The target exclusive cover is nice.

I also wonder if that Target exclusive cover will be glittery and embossed. I would've liked an audio commentary, but this is still a Day 1 purchase for me. Now if only Shout! Factory would release the show on Blu-ray already.

My Grand-daughter was a Pony fan for all of about one year.
Then everything was "Tinkerbell and Friends".
Now, at 9, it's "Monster High" or GTFO.
Which, personally, I don't mind, as I'm planning on introducing her to the Universal Monsters this year!

Looks like this will finish at around $55 million worldwide at the box office, not horrible (I'm assuming, wish the budget for this was released), especially in such a busy movie season, so hopefully this did well enough to consider another film. Excited for the Blu-ray (hopefully it sells well to show that they should put all seasons of Friendship is Magic on Blu-ray), though I do agree that the lack of audio commentary is disappointing, the 2nd through 4th straight to Blu-ray Equestira Girls movies got audio commentary but not the big budget theatrical movie, oh well still getting this day 1.

What do you suppose the chances are that Target will have their exclusive version on the shelf when they open tomorrow? I wasn’t able to get it preordered for my daughter before they ran out.
