Default Cinema is my Therapist

A personal list: Films with cathartic moments that changed you and me. Now I'm incredibly well-adjusted!

Basically, movies that changed your life/or the way you view it.

Martyrs. Never thought any film maker would be crazy enough to make something like that.

The one that comes to mind first is Fight Club.

Another one would be Magnolia.

Also, The Last Temptation of Christ

Gone Baby Gone...

As a parent you think about the ending way after the movies had done and wonder what would you have done.

Very true. Gone Baby Gone is one of those movies that I loved the first time I watched it, but I don't think I could see it again. At least not for a long time. Ben Afleck needs to direct another film because he knocked this one out of the park.

I find Garden State oddly helpful post-breakup.

I would have to say, Ridley Scott's "White Squall"

Where we go one, we go all. Parts of my life, that is what got me through. That will always be one of my faves...

Great choice

Shawshank Redemption, American History X, American Beauty, Fight Club and of course at top of the list... Garden State.

I will also say Yes Man. I've been a No Man recently and this movie helped.
