Default Can I connect my PS3 wirelessly?

Hate to ask here but I'm not sure where else to go to get a fast response.

First of all, I have the PS3 20gb (I think -- it was the cheapest at the time which was about a year ago), which does NOT have built-in wi-fi. But it has a connection for network adapter cable, right? So if I have a wireless NIC that works on my wireless network is there any way I can connect the PS3 to my network wirelessly? Or do I have to drag it yet once again to where my router is located and try and update it there (it won't play "Groundhog Day" without an update).

TIA for any help.

yeah, it should work that way.

...or you could install the update with a flash drive or a burned data disc.

yep, the 20gb model did not have wifi.

I have a 20gb model. I like it way better than my 40gb. The all black look is much nicer. Of course Ive upgraded the hard drive to 120gb.

For internet, I just connect a 30ft ethernet cable.

You have a couple options if you want to make your 20GB PS3 wireless. I believe some of those "game adapters" are compatible with PS3s and 360s but I've never used one. The other option is to get a wireless bridge and connect that via Ethernet to the PS3. The wireless bridge will connect wirelessly to your router.
