Default Tv Help!!!

My head is going crazy. First I was going to go with the 5020 but then I started reading about 200 hours break it,zooming, Burn in,IR problems.

Then I fell in love with the samsung ln55a950 The best I could do was 4 grand out the door at bestbuy. Wife said are you ^%$#@$ *&*^&$&). SO my dreams on that is shot down.

Then went down to the ln52a750 good price right around 2200.00 taxed and shipped from bestbuy. Good reviews. I understand that new models are coming out within a 12 weeks or so. But I don't wan't to be a stunt dummy and test out a new tv. The 750 is almost at it's end so all bugs are pretty much out.

People who have this tv how are the black levels, and clouding?

Then I read this
Lifespan

The difference is probably not important, but yes, CCFLs don't last as long. Even more significant is that their output decreases over time. End of life is when they are half as bright. LEDs are solid state devices, and "fall off the cliff" in failure mode; in other words, they keep working like when they were new until they stop working.

Any info would help.

Not to answer your question, but there's the 50" Pioneer Kuro Plasma at Best Buy this week for I believe $2199 after all the sales and discounts. Course todays the last day, but I bet if you called they'd give you the same deal tomorrow.
Just a thought.

You are honestly considering ANY set over the 5020?? Sorry, but that is just wrong. The Kuro is THE best display you can possibly buy (shy of the Elite) these days. There are NO burn-in problems with these sets and the break-in is only a recommended step. Honestly, you can't sacrifice the initial 100 hours of veiwing in order to have the best picture available? None of your choices so far can hold a candle the the 5020 which will give you inky blacks, true colors, a 3D-like picture, 180 viewing with no loss in picture quality, no clouding or hot spots, etc., etc. I suggest you read the multiple Pioneer and 5020 specific threads that are currently active in the plasma forum. You'll see that your fears are unwarranted.
