Watchmen in IMAX?

Just a quick question.
Im going to Florida for Spring Break and it just so happens theres a midnight show at the IMAX of Watchmen the night before I come back home. I have never seen and IMAX and I dont really know a whole lot about it. Sure have heard a lot of friends speak well of it though..

I have been trying to find some info on whether or not Watchmen was filmed in IMAX cameras, like the Dark Knight, but haven't found anything solid.

Can anyone confirm for me whether it is or not? And also, if it is not, do these movies still look as outstanding in IMAX as I have heard? Or am I better off going to see something that was actually filmed in IMAX cameras?

What part of Florida? I just checked the Jacksonville ones and they're not showing it.

And from what I've heard this isn't like The Dark Knight as far as screen ratio changes

be sure you check the thursday showings, although it is technically friday morning this site, and assumably others, may do the same

I did. They'll only showing at the Regal theaters there. Those in JAX are not IMAX. The IMAX in Augusta is $13. Not bad since the Regal theaters are are $9.50 for a regular screen

I saw the dark knight in that imax theatre its only about 20 minutes away from me, Its worth the extra cash man. Imax is the best for seeing new movies in the only true difference is that you even use your peripheral vision to see the screen hope that helps
