Default TV for my Blind GrandMother

I know The title seems be some sort of a joke....

But its True, shes legally blind, has been for at least 30 years. Shes getting eye surgery this month. Which she will gain some of her sight back, she asked me to find her a nice TV for around 400 bucks... At least I am guessing thats her range or about that range.

I need to some help in pointing me in the right direction, she told me she wants a nice TV, with new technology. Truth is I don't think she needs 1080P, or anything, but I think it at least needs to be 720P so I can tell her its HIDEF without lieing.

I think since shes pretty much blind.... I am looking to maximize size instead of true detail.... Point in the direction of what I should be looking for considering my low price range thanks, for not laughing to hard.

BTW we want to go size 42 considering anything bigger she will say is to big I think. She was looking for a 30 but I think we can go bigger.
