I am a huge 24 fan and I saw 24 the game for $ 6.99 at my gamestop I got rid of my PS2 but I heard PS2 games work on older PS3 models I got mine last jan 2008.so will it work on my PS3?

Was the 24 game any good? I'm a fan of the tv series but never got around to playing the game.
