Default Need LCD Expert

LCD experts. I need help.

I have been trying to get a new TV for a year now and have asked this forum many questions. The problem has been I have a rear projection TV that has been great which has made the purchasing a new one a little difficult to get my wife on board. A miracle has happened. My TV went caput last night and now I NEED one.

My problem:

Reflection
Behind where we watch is a bay of windows which causes bad reflection both day and night. This eliminates a plasma.

Size

The TV has to go into a cabinet. A 52” will fit and I can remodel a little and get the new 55’s in.

I was excited when Samsung came out with their 55” BUT Samsung has a clear panel which causes a bad reflection. This eliminates a Samsung.

Sony’s new 55” panel is not clear, the reflection is at a minimal BUT they have added the side speakers that cannot be taken off making it too wide for the space.

I can go with a Sony 52" and be OK for space and reflection but they are a little expensive but if that is what I have to do, I will. But my first preference is to get a 55" if all possible.

Here is where I need help----Is there any other manufacture of LCD’s that have a 55” coming out for 2009 that you would consider a high quality 55 inch????

Or am I stuck with a 52???
